Carl-Fredrik Ekström

Carl-Fredrik Ekström was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1967. He was educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Idun Lovén Art School, both in Stockholm. Since 1995 he has exhibited in several solo shows at galleries around Sweden.

He has also made several public commissions. Usually Carl-Fredrik paints on acrylic glass plates which he joins together, creating paintings that consist of multiple separate elements.

His work is represented in public collections such as the Modern Museum of Art in Stockholm, the National Public Art Council of Sweden, Stockholm Art Council, Maria Bonnier Dahlins foundation and others.

He lives and work in Stockholm, Sweden.

Denise Grünstein

Denise Grünstein (Helsinki, 1950) was based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Since the early 2000s she has mostly focused on staged photgraphy with female protagonists. Her work contains references to the 19th century romantic paintings and the 20th century surrealism. In her pictures, Grünstein often creates a strange world where beauty meets disharmony. Her photographs are easily recognizable for their characteristic and highly personal expression on the border-line between fantasy and reality.

Her work is represented in in Modern Museum of Art in Stockholm, Nationalmuseum, Stockholm, Hasselblad Center, Gothenburg, Artipelag, Stockholm, Magasin III, Stockholm, SEB Collection, Stockholm, KIASMA, Helsinki, Museet for Samtidskunst, Oslo.

Denise Grünstein lived and worked in Stockholm. She has exhibited widely across Sweden and parts of Europe.

Denise Grünstein passed away in June 2023.

Diana Orving

Diana Orving is born in Sweden in 1985. She works predominantly with textile sculptures and paintings, exploring the intersection of emotion
and thought. Employing a choreographic approach, she aims to express and understand mental and physical processes through form and movement, often working on a grand scale that embraces unpredictability. Her style is associatively and intrinsically fluid, investigating themes such as origin, memory and the subconscious.

With a background in fashion design, she has also been acknowledged for her costume work with the Swedish Royal Opera.

Diana Orving lives and works in Stockholm. Her works have been exhibited at, among others, Tempesta Gallery in Milan, P Gallery in Palma, Gothenburg Museum of Art, Galleri Arnstedt, Varbergs Konsthall, Sven Harrys Konsthall and Liljevalchs Konsthall.

Matthias van Arkel

Matthias van Arkel is a Swedish painter, internationally known for his unique expression of merging painting and sculpture in works made of silicone. In his three-dimensional works density, opulence, movement and energy plays a key role.

He has a master in art from National Collage of Art, Craft and Design and postgraduated at the Royal Institute of Fine Arts, Stockholm.
His work is represented in Modern Museum of Art in Stockholm,
the National Public Art Council of Sweden, The SOKO Art Collection in Finland and the National Library of France, Paris, France.

He has exhibited widely across Sweden and also in New York, Miami and many parts of Europe.
